Sherry--First my compliments for the 'insincerly' at the bottom of your post. This shows a good grasp of Flame thread protocol. Graybar Hotel has come to have different meaning on SI. If one violates SI's rules of engagement by posting obscenities, vicious personal attacks, lies about a poster, or as in a recent case the address and phone number of a poster one can be suspended. Temporary suspensions (normally for a week or two) are called the Graybar Hotel. The Graybar Hotel is the cyber equivalent of SI Jail. Permanent suspensions are called getting your butt booted off SI. Thank you for your explanation it clears up for me where the original phrase came from. Normally I would politely express my gratitude for taking the time explain this, but it is the Flame thread so you get the traditional greeting. Long May You Rot Druss
