Why do you want to buy something so far out of the money?
There is a very good chance of VVUS getting bought out for 12 than for 18. The DEC 10's would be a much better buy than the 15's, aleast if the stock goes up a few points you can make a double on it.

Detail rep is the sales person who details(explains and answers questions) about the product(s) he/she sells.

Don't ask me about options cause I know little about effectively playing them. I believe that if Vivus is sold it will be an all stock deal. This would allow a much more favorable deal than cash.

I doubt Vivus would sell out for only $12.00/share and they probably would be reluctant to sell for even $15.00/share. I think they will either partner up and remain independent or sell out if the price is right. In a stock swap they can probably get $20.00/share and maybe a bit more. Just my opinion.

So does this mean that it is very dangerous now to consider buying any Vivus calls for towards the end of the year. If Vivus do a deal and the calls are out of the money you lose everything?
