I think Apple is going to make some product announcements in the near future. See my earlier post on an upcoming Apple seminar (September). I pose these questions. What is the Apple G3 Unix Workstation? (I've never heard of it) to be shown at the seminar? What 3 operating systems could Apple be demonstrating (running concurrently on this server) shown at the seminar. What is the Apple G3 Web Station? What is the brand-new Apache web-server solution for Power Macintosh G3 systems that will be demonstrated. Is Apple branching into another market with UNIX? If Apple is going into Science and Technology in a big way - then they must have some pretty powerful hardware in the pipeline. This stuff is just around the corner.... and my source is reliable (@apple.com).
