Jon, Gregg, Maurice, thank you for your responses. I must tell you that this report turned my understanding of the crisis in Asia and in SK in particular upside down. I keep telling myself that I am making too much out of this singular event, but one question lingers: how on earth a country in a very deep financial trouble can have a company selling not a necessity but a product associated with an upscale life style, report 98 percent increase in sales? If we take into account the fact that QC problems reported back in February were related to sales to Korean manufactures (who were those manufactures, by the way? anyone knows?), this LG report just does not fit into the general picture at all. Not that I am complaining, mind you, but I just can't make any sense out of it. Gregg, Jon, Maurice, Ramsey, all, please, enlighten me about how this is possible? What am I missing here? And I am obviously missing something, because I am absolutely stunned by LG's results. Without trying to flatter anyone, your analysis, guys, has always impressed upon me, so here is the problem for you. How do you fit the LG piece into the Asian crisis jigsaw puzzle? I can't. P.S. Maurice, I am a Russian dude, living in Del Mar, CA. I absolutely agree with you that booze is one of very important things in life. I guess, some day I will challenge Tero to a vodka drinking contest, and all of you Yankees and Kiwis would just have to stay away from it. All you will be allowed to do is to keep sipping on your Amontillado, Oloroso or whatever your favorite Sherry is. At the end of the contest I will challenge Tero's logic, may be it will improve then. <g>. Cheers... Alex
