Awright you dirty, oil patch dogs! I try to relax and write and a little bird tells me volume is happening here. So I put away the poetry and take a look. Hmmm...very interesting. Papa John's Pizza (PZZA) just moved into my neighborhood and I started a small position today...oops, wrong board. Now haven't you guys missed me just a little, eh? Come on, I need some support. All I've been doing is hiding in my attic writing dark prose all by myself. I need some company for a bit. I'm also noticing a lot of the old timers posting here of late. Nice to see that. Now don't get too excited, I'm still enjoying retirement and I have NO interest in watching day to day ticks, but...I think at least I'll cut and paste some of Thean's notes to start a family war again...;) Maybe we can get Ron back. He said his web page is probably history after August 1. Perhaps we can get his broker to back off. REGARDLESS FOLKS, don't let your optimism get carried away. As experience has taught me, trading is probably in order here. We got A LOT of overhead resistance, A LOT. Watch those resistance points. About that party... Yeah, Slider, you can do the MC thing. Slider, thanks for the volume data. It really is the key, isn't it? Another one to look at is PDE (formerly, I think, a favorite of Big Dog), yesterday traded 2,380,200 vs. an average volume of 626,000. I've never really been interested in PDE, but I get the feeling some of those buyers are going to make a lot of money in the next couple of years. Others trading at nearly twice average volume include RON, SCSWF and CXIPY. UFAB traded more than 12 times average daily volume (yes, 12 times), but went down more than a point, so buyer beware (could someone have been triggering stop losses, or did bad news leak?).
