IBM THINKS DIFFERENT and gives the Mac access to Enterprise files

Guess IBM doesn't THINK AAPL is going away soon :

" PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 14, 1998--IBM's Transarc subsidiary today announced AFS Connect, which allows Macintosh, NetWare and Windows users access to the powerful and dependable
AFS(1) Enterprise File System without the need for additional software on the desktop.
"

Common file access for 3 OSs , maybe OS X will be showing us something similar at Seybold World 8/31/98 .

Read my post on it and see who else is keynoting it with S Jobs !
