Del,
I enjoyed your story about the international dateline. How did the priest respond? How could a 3rd grader embarrass a man of the cloth? Didn't the nun realize the priest had God on his side, so there was no reason for the priest to be embarrassed? And have you ever found out the answer to your question?

Regards,
Craig

Del, I am sorry to have sloppily got you into an unfounded exchange with Craig. No permanent harm done, I assume.

On your Date Line question: I attended Catholic boarding school for the sixth through ninth grades. One day, in the sixth grade, I asked an inappropriate question about the nature of God to Brother Aden, a Marist Brother who looked somewhat alien in his black dress.

I got beat around the room for several minutes. Literally. From one side wall, around the back, to the opposite side wall.

This almost immediately resulted in my lowering admissions of self-abuse in Confession from a cpla hunnert a week to three. geo
