Looks that way so far this morning - failing to hold support. Could be we have seen the bounce before a further decline. I suspect we won't get a steep decline before earnings are announced - too many extreme optimists still salivating over past gains. I hope the daxn analysts don't have glassy eyed hangovers (from the intoxicating run-up) during the conference call - I'd like to see some hard questions about how the company expects to profit from its strategy and what are management's expectations for competition and margin erosion. It's at the point in the game that Amazonianut.com management must either fess up about the nature of the business or face serious concerns about shareholder lawsuits further down-stream. Maybe with $2 billion in paper worth, Bozo is not concerned about being straight on the business realities. Any statements that would lead the stock yet higher will open Amazon up to spending time in depositions.

Hmmm . . . there is a well known class action lawyer here in Seattle that has worked on several challenging (and profitable) casses in the past - Eagle Hardware, Boeing, on-going State tobacco settlement attempt, etc. that might be interested - this might be big enough to have some juice in it for him and getting in action before other law firms would help his position when it comes to distributing the settlement among competing law firms around the country. Being based in Seattle doesn't hurt. Better give Steve B. a call to enlighten him.
