I have read your posts on this and other threads, and have found them to be both informative and objective. I hope you will continue to monitor and post to the FTEL thread as you see fit. Thanks for helping this Telecomms novice to start to understand the technical issues, and business implications, of this hardware.

Frank, could the "switch" be used to blend IP into the WCOM backbone when needed? ie when there is no DVG at a certain place and the call needs to be over normal medium wouldn't the Switch do that?

Now go easy on me as I'm a DC10 driver without your electronics experience<g>...So, if you reply, keep it at a level the "rest of us" can stay up with...
