Using that logic than would you say plants have eyes? After all photosynthesis is a chemical process driven by sunlight reacting within cells.

"I do some fishing also, I remember you gig flounder."

Del, I picked this up while structuring a profile on Ish.

Gigging flunders!

Last summer I camped out in my Vanagan for a week at the tip of Grand Isle. Grand Isle is a narrow island- penisula that juts way out into the Caribbean in South La. The island is the last island before water logged Barritara Island---the home of Jean Lafite prior to the War of 1812.

Anyway, it was a heck of a week. We parked our Vanagan some 20 feet from the high tide and partook of the bounty of nature for a whole week.
One day we caught 20 dozen crabs and boiled them. The next day I used my castnet to bring in enough fresh shrimp to have a feast. The next night I went gigging for flounder in a small bay 1/4 wile from the camp and caught 14 2-4 pounders. The next day I caught sheephead in my castnet and fileted them for lunch. On the second to last day, the spectacle trout hit our beach and every cast was a strike. A fresh seafood heaven---all caught with our own hands.
