The preliminary audit comes out in two weeks. A few weeks after that, the final audit should come in. After the audit is official, CD could find some stability and go back to $20+ like it did last time. In the meantime, we will probably have to sit through a number of downgrades and a potential trouble regarding the ABI news. In the midst of the trouble, Merril is being said to be giving CD's value, without CUC, as $ 13 per share. And what would they value DELL at? $ 105 as it is now? Probably not. They might give it a value which is much different than the market. The supply of stocks is limited. The funds are constantly looking for places to put their money. I think they will be back, especially after emotions slow down. Especially when CD stocks starts to find a base. Especially when/if CD stock begins to climb. Especially when CD has its preliminary audit report (two weeks). Especially when/if CD has the final audit out next month. CD could announce that they will pay cash for ABI and, therefore, eliminate potential dilution. CD could announce the sale of some CUC units (which might be viewed as good). CD could announce Forbes firing, which I personally would like to see. CD's upcoming quarters should be higher than the current quarter, especially if they are to earn $ 1 bil this year as the company just said. CD's upcoming 3 and 4Q should have earnings ADDED to them because of write-offs taken in previous quartesrs because of the audit, which will now add to earnings later. This will also make comparable quarters look better. I don't know what the stock will do today. If liquidations are still going on, which they may, today could be another crazy day, but I expect some firming by tomorrow, if not today. Of course, who knows? Anything can happen. Often, for me, buying stocks in times like this pays off very well for me, but maybe I'll be wrong. I think $ 20+ is still very achievable before the end of the year. I'm not even looking for $ 30 anymore. However, with the new low price, and the fact that I just loaded up around $ 15.38, $ 20 will feel quite well. I would consider it strange if CD dips below $ 13.00 b. I don't really expect it to go under $ 14.00b. I'm hoping for $ 16+ today, but just not losing ground would be nice :o) I don't expect to follow CD real closely today. Today may be crazy. I am most interested in how the stock ends up today, and from that number I will may further evaluations. CD: ~ $ 15.56a VALUESPECvaluespec.com
