Obviously he didn't see the item from Compaq yesterday on the AlphaServer price reductions. I think we're going to see a major switch over to Alpha on the server side. When you own the rights to a chip, why pay royalties on someone else's especially when that someone else has to produce your chip for you at near to / below cost. With Windows 98 being the end of the line and NT desktop coming Alpha will be able to run from the desktop to the highest end super-computers.
