JG, good to hear it was a refreshing vacation. About seeing Phil on the elevator, when they played in Telluride '87, We saw Phil with wife and child on his shoulders just roaming the shops on the main drag. Even say Bob at a bar latenight. But alas, no sight then of the bear. I think he was fortressed up at the $800K condo of the late and dear Mr. Grahm. I did once have a similar encounter with the bear at Long Beach, I think '88. We were comming down the elevator, and Jer got on at one of the stops. I think it was a four floor ride down. There were a few DH gals on the ride also. The initial unexpected shock threw everyone on the ride for a loop, and alas, everyone remained speachless. I know he was just grinning inside. But probably better to say nada than "Oh Jer, I love your music, blah, blah, blah" and feel all stupid afterwards. Good to see you're back.
