One thing FLSHF didn't say on the press release, which is very important and answers your question.
Toshiba will pay royalties for every DOC it sells. The more DOC's they sell (the bigger their stake in the DOC market is), the more royalties they pay for each DOC. This will ensure that FLSHF will remain the leading supplier of DOC's.
Besides that, Toshiba will try to go after customers that FLSHF doesn't target. Don't forget, these two companies are working together, not against each other. They don't call it strategic alliance for nothing.

This is a great deal for FLSHF, and it will help it get those big OEM's. FLSHF is still at a very low level. Like I said before, I believe FLSHF will be a double digit stock by mid '99.
