Thanks for the comments. I agree with you for the most part. I think it's actually the airlines who are alienating the travel agents by reducing commissions to the point where a busy travel agent cannot afford to spend time merely booking flights for the budget minded traveller. It will become necessary for the budget traveller to check the internet in order to get the best prices unless they have a relationship with an agent who has the time to burn. From my observation of the development of the other hot internet sites you mentioned, I do think TSG is proceeding aggressively, they are the number one internet booking site , but not so fast as to overwhelm their servers. I would love to see some Travelocity television ads, though! Despite all the bear arguments, I am still surprised that the volume has remained so low, even as the price has risen steadily lately. You would have thought at least a few players would have jumped on board. I can only surmise that the market treats this issue as a defacto subsidiary/division of AMR, and won't bite. Looks like vol picked up a bit today. A positive note on the light volume is that price action has been good despite it. Any surge in buying interest should have a good price impact. That's the main reason for my current long position. Markas
