Great points Carl.ÿ I'm newly reminded of how important share buybacks can be, and I'm encouraged that ESV still has 4.6 million additional shares authorized to buy back if they see continued "market softness:" "Current market softness afforded the Company the opportunity to purchase approximately 400,000 shares of its common stock in the open market during the second quarter as we commenced the five million share repurchase program that was announced on May 28, 1998" Seems we have a bit of downside protection I'd forgotten all about.
