Just tripped across this hdiinc.com while looking for something else. Click on 'Our Activities', and there may be other edifying stuff, I don't know. There will likely be a lot of directional drilling getting gas out of coal fields. Land costs and finding costs per boe (barrels of oil equivalent) and boe/d (bbls of oil equivalent per day) will be the crucial numbers to watch, imho. They vary widely even within bigger companies from year to year. Putting "horizontal drilling" or "underbalanced drilling" into dogpile.com brings up a lot of related stuff, and there really is an amazing amount of general oil and gas info, including quotes and price graphs, accessible from oilworld.com Hope you have better luck with this one than I'm having lately with my little collection of junior oils - they've mostly been pretty flat or off a bit over the last few months. There are some good values around in the oilpatch, imho, but the trick is in picking the winners. .... cheers
