I stopped out also, at 34, my buy in point from August '97.

Granted, CPQ will improve. Question is when?

Haven't been following this thread too much but could it be that the mgmt. can manipulate the #s based on write-offs related to DEC and therefore control the earnings? However, they cannot alter the revenues which were not up to par and hence the resulting sell-off? This is my theory until shown otherwise. btw, I sold my last position in CPQ around the DEC buy-out news this spring.
