I guess it's all in the presentation. For example:

#Subject-15326 CNBC Maria Bartiromo Fan Club
#Subject-19968 CNBC Guys - The Hunks of Financial TV
#Subject-15802 CNBC's Joe Kernen - What's with that haircut?
#Subject-20677 Peter Lynch-one of the world's greatest investors
#Subject-6587 Warren Buffett

I seem to recall seeing something on the Welcome to SI Thread saying that changing the name of a thread generally needed the request of the person that started the thread......since Bull started this thread, my guess is that he would need to be the one to ask SI to change the name.......given his opening comments, I wouldn't hold my breath.

That said, there is nothing preventing anyone from starting a new thread with a "kinder and gentler" title. Frankly, though, I don't really think that changing the name will have much, if any, affect on content. Those that want to flame will still be able to do so and JJC will still have to/be able to answer them.

Personally, if it were me, I would prefer to be able to publicly answer my critics, no matter how they presented themselves, rather than have the discussion occur privately in PM's and e-mails that I might never see.....openness has a way of making the ridiculous sink and the legitimate rise to the top ......isn't that the whole point of SI?????
