Olu, according to that article McKesson was looking at a potential purchase of HBOC, but HBOC is a much larger company. This lends support to the idea that the word was out as HBOC rose sharply over the past week or so.

What bugs me is the fact that other people hear this stuff, and we, the small investors, know this only after the fact. Maybe we should start a letter writing campaign to the SEC.

It also looks like the money guys who want fast returns are getting out. Since hboc was in a talking stage they may figure another merger is just around the corner and they don't want anything to slow the momentum down.
