<<The Street won't really begin believing until we are well past $20. We'll finally get our pop through $13 and change. The time is getting closer.>>

I completely concur with your thoughts, and as NOVL goes north of $15, it will start to raise more eyebrows on The Street. While some think that NOVL doesn't trade like a "real stock" (re: MSFT), it's still a junior $5 billion market-cap monkey compared to a $300 billion pound gorilla (apples to oranges), and has to go through the formal turnaround growing pains first before The Street wants to hug it again. But in comparing NT5 to NW5 (rotten apples versus fresh fall apples), and the breath of products rolling out of Provo under focused Dr. Schmidt, I continue to see a long upside in NOVL for many years. I'm just a novice learner of how stocks go through accumulation phases, and something tells me that NOVL is continuing to trade in a classic "quiet accumulation pattern" (with occasional breakout phases, and new trading ranges) as the "accumulators" have a lot of share buying to do before news such as NW5 release, analyst upgrades, and better earnings come forth between now and year end. They continue to wring out the "weak hands" and the days will be near when NOVL does trade in a "real" type of pattern. But first, let those smart accumulators do their work.....;)

Heck, there is even some QuadK imposter on the NOVL Yahoo thread telling everyone that QuadK (used an underline dash after the K, QuadK_ ) sold his long position last week as NOVL hit 12 15/16s at the close while I was out in the field with work. Hmmmm, as the saying goes "imitation is the greatest form of flattery", and to think that some NOVL "imposter" who was short NOVL was trying to use my good name to convince other longs to sell their position. Strange world we live in, and one where I always trust my own due diligence, but I do like to listen to the thoughts of others to compare my own views. Many people on the NOVL yahoo thread respect my views on NOVL, but I have always mentioned that I "buy stocks dirt cheap" as a value hunter, as air pockets do happen. Furthermore, I'm one who tempers my greed (momentum stock plays or trading) while at the same time uses time as my weapon for capital gain. Novell (Schmidt) has so far shown me that being patient with this stock will eventually reward the "early bird" pickers of its shares.

Staying humbly long,

QuadK
