Chris, The 116s are a strike price on the bond futures. They are options on futures on 30 years bonds. You find them listed under Chicago Board of Trade Treasury Bonds in the futures section. The main negative about them is that each futures contract represents a $100,000 bond. Ditto for the options. The MidAm Exchange has a $50,000 mini futures contract, but no options, so 100K is the amount in play. And that makes the options sell for the $1000s of dollars instead of the $100s we see for stock options.
