Good post - thanks.

Did you happen to ask about revenues? In an October 1997 press release they forecast 1997 revenues of 600K and 1998 revenues of 15 million. If I were calling MS I would ask what they actually did in 1997 revenues (there are NO financials on their web site, but I'm waiting to call until the new web site is up and I see whether they have any company data on it), what their 1998 revenues to date have been, and what their 1998 expenses to date have been. These are numbers they should know, and should be willing to share with shareholders and the public. I would also ask whether he is still comfortable with the $15 million published forecast, and if not what their current forecast for 1998 income is. If they don't have one, I would find that worrisome; if they have one but aren't willing to share it, I would find that worrisome for different reasons, especially since they have put out a forecast in the past.

I know I'm accused of being negative on the stock. I don't see myself as being negative, but rather as being prudent and wanting to look before leaping. The counter position here seems to be that the stock is so cheap and the concept so good that people should either be willing to leap without knowing what's down there, or fugedabutit. I hope we can each respect each other's positions on this, and realize that there is a place both for those who are willing to invest on faith and those who seek some factual basis for believing.
