Specifics....

Cheap:

Adtran and Asante and Bay's (netgear line). You can check prices on pricewatch and info on their web pages. Asante makes an 8 Port 10/100 switch that retails for $500.

Better are more features: Cisco 1548, Cisco 2900 Series

BTW: Most vendors 8+2 and 8 port 10/100 switches all use the same gallileo chipset. So features and performance are nearly identical. None of these models are cut-through all use store and forward technology.
