Nasdaq's NODES Could Transform the Market

fool.com
fool.com

...the basic obligation of market makers to provide real liquidity, an obligation underscored by the strengthening of SOES in '87, will essentially be thrown out...

...much of what's good about NODES is the product of Nasdaq adjusting to outside pressure. Much of what remains bad about the proposal involves sly attempts to outflank those pressures...

...But NODES ultimately begs a more important question: Does Nasdaq really need market makers at all?

Harry,

Wasn't Dean in the Worth magazine dedicated to Intel that was a super bull on Intel ? I will have to look that name up when I get home.
