Usually, requesting a check gets one mailed out the next day. Sometimes wire transfers happen the same day.

Read back on this thread a couple of hundred posts. You will find people pretty delighted with how fast you get your money from Datek.

I've used DLJ Direct and Datek, and in the first 30 min or on a hot active stock, I have witnessed about the same results. I chased KTEL down 7 points on DLJ Direct, and that is why I am at Datek now. I thought I could get away from the long delays, but it may be a symptome of the market... and conditions. But I don't know for sure.

Good luck,

jack

Datek,

You have decided to pay your bills & post *MY* interest
money into *MY* account within my stated deadline.

Wise Choice.

I will therefore not pull my account from you at this time.

I wish to make it clear to you though that finally giving
me my money 2 weeks late then dating it in the transaction
files back to the end of last month does not make your tardiness
acceptable.

The next interest payment is due in 2 weeks. You are expected
to pay me in the future ON TIME. Your customer agreement works
both ways. I will live up to my side, I expect you to live up to
yours.

Good Day
