I think you should have bought a couple of weeks ago if your were going to attempt that, BWDIK.

I did. I think you may have missed my point: buying on dip is somewhat different from betting on blow-off. For example, I bought MER during the last dip (and sold it way too early):, but I'd never use a brokerage stock as a blow-off proxy 'cause these have a tendency to lead the market.

The momentum should carry the Dow above 9,500, if only intra-day. It's not too late to buy "one-decision" stocks like MSFT, WCOM, BMY, GE - just keep your stops tight...
