Maybe some of the "big money" and the "smart money" knows something.
They also could be starting to wake up to the fact that Cymer has been oversold and holds great untapped potential for long term investors.

Wouldn't it be great if Cymer started to perform more like my DELL (a stock with very little volatility and almost constant and never ending improvement in its stock price)! I've got to stop dreaming.

CYMI has a major strategic position in a very important industry and IMO will be one of the first semi. cap. equip. firms to demonstrate a strong rebound in its stock price.

My guess is it's options-related. Must be an imbalance at $17.5 (if there is a $17.5 option). If that's the case, watch the stock bounce around within a 1/4 point of the strike price on expiration date. However, MM's need to drive the price to the strike price first.
