you did not address the serious issue I raised.
If you mean the issue of component costs, I didn't answer that because it was a hard question <g!>. I don't know enough about the mechanics of the consumer business manufacturing model to give a solid answer, I'll have to do some digging. I agree it is a substantive issue. We'll have to do a little research on that one.

I want to thank you for helping to open my eyes on both CPQ and DELL. Actually, it was John Koligman who mentioned your name a while back on this thread that sparked an interest. You seemed to peg both companies in the correct light. Unfortunately, my own channel was stuffed with cpq at the time and I couldn't get into Dell right away. Since then I've done a lot better unloading shares from time to time of cpq and picking up Dell. I know your detractors won't like me saying this especially on the cpq thread but you deserve the accolades. Thanks again.
