Slider,

It is nice to see your enthusiasm...but I would heed the advice.

Sudden price/volume changes, if too sudden, will only bring profit taking and day trading...This sector needs to slowly climb and build support in each issue.

Too many people have been royally burned with investments in this sector (myself included) and will not be quick to jump back in.If these stocks will just stabilize and slowwly inch up...more and more people will come back and start nibbling. Thats what is needed for any sort of sustained rebound to occur. For some of these companies, I'm afraid it might take 2-3 earnings reports and then a few "competent" analyst upgrades before a lot of people would even consider buying in.

Question: Do you know how to tell the diference between a sector rebound and a "dead cat bounce"?

Answer: One leaves you with your head in your hands.....

My point is I hope you are correct that the bottom is in...but after the last six months, it will take a lot more than $1 jump in crude and a few positive days to convince Wall Street...

Be cautious...time will tell

Just My Thoughts

Dave
