SC,

I don't know whether MSFT will make that run. I like the fact that it's stuck in this range, which will probably prohit a significant drop in the share price after the earnings report. Now if Softie is willing to report more than 0.52 (he can report any number below 1.00 as he wants to, if they recognize those hidden revenues) and give a slightly positive tone about win98, they will rally toward 125 within the next 3 weeks. However, I highly doubt that Softie will do so since they already have had a great run. Remember that MSFT management team has mentioned several times that they do want to see long term price appreciation.

MD is another case. This guy is perennial bullish. Even more bullish that Abby Joseph Cohen. DELL has more near term upside potential. Seriously, if DELL does not announce a split and does not beat first call by at least 3-4 cents, short the issue above 140 for a 15-20 point return in three weeks. I believe that market will correct 10-15% after DELL reports. It's bear time.

larry!
