><>...You took the words right out of my mouth...><> Absent the choice we become as robots. Hi Tippet, how are you doing? It is good to see you in this sometimes dark place. I have heard that same old story from many unbelievers. They have sort of a " Well God, make me be good" attitude. And they say that if He can't, or worse yet, if He won't....then it is not the fault of the person that he does evil....Blame it on somebody else generation.! And who better than God, since He has the power to make everybody a common robot! You hit the nail right on the head Tippet. Robots! That's what many think that God should do Imagine, the clay telling the potter how to mold a better pot!...make robots out of everyone so they don't have to make a choice and take the responsibility from them. It's the secular humanism mentality. This same group also states that the govt. should take more control and exert more authority over it's people. Finance more programs, more research projects, more educational forums, in order that it's criminals can get more understanding and compassion, ah, yes let us have more compassion for the murders, the rapists, the child abusers, the thieves, the defrauders, the whole lot of them........so that their heinous criminal ways can be rehabilitated....because you see, it wasn't their fault that they committed any crime anyway.!...."Nobody made them stop, and nobody rehabilitated them. There must be something the govt. can do also besides put a criminal in prison, or sentence a vile murdering ruthless crazed person to life or death...the govt..... should make them be good.... Then every body would be good and we could save billions of dollars on prisons and programs and cops, etc, etc, etc. So it's the govt's.fault that we have criminals. But.... in the end it is God's fault they imply, that an evil person must suffer in eternal punishment because God could have made them Robots , if He chose to. How can a Robot love? This world is jammed with good loving people who choose to do good, and love God and accept Jesus as their Lord. Would a fair and loving God then make robots out of those who will not choose good. Making it so that they have to do good and have to believe that Christ is LORD because now they have no choice?. God forbid, for then how will God know who truly loves Him and who does not? Where is their common sense or even their sense of fairness? Josh 24:15-16 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods; Have to go for now tippet, May God bless you and your family abundantly. Shalom...><>
