Quickterm High End Math

This close to earnings, I just can't put down my sharp pencil.

How many extra chips need to be sold to cover the cost of this new-fangeled Quickterm contraption.

Well, at $200,000 for a decent Quickterm with mouse, it would take 28,000 chips sold at $47.50 each with a 15% profit margin of $7.12 apiece to pay it off.

So, I guess if we screw up on that many chips less, it pays for itself.

Hal

PS: On the other hand, if written off over the next million chips, at $200,000, this Quickterm adds $0.20 to the cost of each and every chip. How long can this spendthrift madness go on before we end up in the poorhouse like our competitors? HR
