Got this analysis from Bloomberg News Website:
>>Netscape Communications Corp. (NSCP) fell for a second day, as much as 1 1/2 to 31 3/4, as the company's Internet-browser market share's fallen to 54 percent among corporate users, even though Netscape gave away its browser in January to stanch Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT) inroads in the market, according to a new study by market researcher Zona Research Inc. Its market share was 62 percent in September.<<

Not much news here!! Anyone find anything NEW?

The browser market share loss, obviously, but additionally it is rumored that negotiations between TWX, et.al. and NSCP have broken down over NSCP's supposed arrogance re. portal page retention (I think NSCP continues to demand top-line billing and control over the content formats.) This is just what I've heard and I cannot authenticate this. The past stock move up into the 40's has deteriorated on a technical basis and probably has encouraged the weak longs to liquidate. My premature short cover was early, but profitable.....no regrets. Good Luck to everybody.
