Great article. Couldn't agree more. They mentioned several companies, but it may be better off to buy a Russian mutual fund like Templeton, Russia (mark mobius runs this fund), or Lexington, Troika.
These funds don't have many stocks in them (I believe the last time I checked Lexington had 20 companies in it).

I'm going to go buy some Lukoil. I have a good friend in Russia who is an investor in Russia and his firm is really pushing Lukoil and expects an easy double this year (he told me this two weeks ago). Apparently they are being advised on making a couple of other aquisitions. He couldn't go into detail because it was inside info. If you read the article it will show you how much oil they have (lots). Friends purchased this ADR last over a year ago at 32 and sold at over 100. I'm not sure what it's at today. It did come back down to the high 30's three weeks ago (these can really move).

Whatever you do, you should make some money. Remember, still very volatile.
