that would be nice, as i was looking for something similar, a friend of mine said a macro can be written to retrieve the quote and load it into excel and compare, generating a signal(sound). the data may have to be downloadable though, not sure if you can perform a copy and paste...i don't know alot about setting up the macro, but if there are any wizards out there i would love to get my hands on such a macro.

Does anybody know the system that sends a signal when price on the stock from your list is coming out of the range?

If you have an account there you can set high & low "alarm" limits in your watch portfolio. They'll send you an e-mail when an alarm is reached; real time too.
I think I've seen that kind of service elsewhere on the web but don't remember where 'cause it cost too much, compared to free at Datek.
