First part of the call was comprised of John's discussion of the Packaging in detail, some about the Product in the package, Price of the product (being lower that the competition) and Profit for the retailer. What he called the four "P"s. Also explained in relative detail the effect of the Kraft agreement on TCBG's packaging and future marketing. He was quite clear, at least in my opinion, on what this company can do in marketing the product as a result of that agreement.

Spent some time assuring the group that the company has the financial ability to acquire all the Volpak machines required and fund operating requirements. As one looking for financial info this was important to me although statements would be nice and as you said, are coming.

Discussed strategy in marketing to grocers by focusing on private label aspect as opposed to trying to bring a new brand to market. Seems like solid strategy. No heavy marketing expense trying to establish a brand. No slotting fees to grocers.

Anyway, I am in! Was impressed with John and his answers. Long term prospects good. Some sound assumptions here. Always risk in this type of scenario as product not flowing fully yet, some financial questions remain. But if one waits for substantially all risk elements to be eliminated some one else has reaped the reward.

As always, the above represents my recollection and interpretation.

Thanks to Earl for arranging the call and keeping us all informed.

Later,

Pete
