I appreciate your "rant"...it always helps to have the additional perspective. Don't get me going on analysts...they're on my list with lawyers and stockbrokers. My own concerns with ICIX are in two areas. 1) I'm concerned that the CLEC market overall may have had it's run. At what point do they become subject to the same competitive threats that they subjected the carriers to? and does ICIX's increasingly larger size help or hurt them here?, and 2) ICIX has done well with some of the earlier acquisitions (DIGEX), I'm watching to see how they manage their latest. In general, I'm torn between continuing to ride ICIX, who've become a big dog on the porch, or divesting of ICIX in favor of some of the smaller players with potentially greater upside (ITDC, ELIX, ?). I stayed in TCGI a hair too long, hitting the AT&T wall. I've already pulled half out of ICIX, and done well on the reinvest in ITCD...I'm prone to falling in love with a stock. I'd like to call a top for a change!
