When do you anticipate seeing some report of current market share coming from independent sources?

You know I don't go around saying things just to boost the stock....They promised to show sequential growth in Q4 and if you listen to the conference call, they are setting themselves up to do just that.

I know you wouldn't try to do that. But considering they had a previous promise to show seq rev growth in Q3, I don't think that the saving of revenue for Q4 would make much sense. That's all im saying. For the record, the results beat my expectations.

Huge backorder of PowerBooks. Relatively low channel inventory. Low in house inventory. Apple has a lot going forward to ensure that its promise to increase revenue sequentially in Q4 will be delivered.

"Once again, you have crystalized my thoughts exactly, Eric."

...to paraphrase David Letterman. I'm fully expecting Apple to blow out Q4 in style. With G3 desktops selling well, high margin PowerBooks shipping en masse and the phenomenal success I expect the iMac will achieve, Q4 will increase revenues substantially.
