Ali, It looks like there was some people exercising their options.Well with a predicted glut and potential drop in the computer industry I find it rational self interest to exercise your options. Some will sit with options and not exercise them forever. Some will exercise them and not sell and use the value as margin for other purchases.
It is a mixed bag of people all acting with disparate motives. The options are already allowed for in the fully diluted share figues and so the exercise and sale does not change the fully diluted figure, but it will bring the total closer to the fully diluted.
I am not sure why them would buy up shares, unless they want to keep a cap on the total to avoid dilition and thus they decide to buy back whatever volumes of options are exercised. MAkes some analysts prasie them for the non dilutionary act.
