The types of acquisitions Danny Dror has made in the name of EDII are all around the Houston area. I've lived in Texas for 9 years and unless you belong to the good old boys club, it's pretty difficult to get things done. Danny is obviously a full fledged member as these acquisitions are coming faster than I would have believed possible. Perhaps he's had visions in the past but didn't have the business savvy or personal ties to get things done the way he might have envisioned or it simply might not have been the goal of the company to grow in the same direction as he was.

One major difference: the guys you cite worked for bigtime firms. Dror never has. Take a look at MCTL and KLVU (and, as always, the relevant SEC filings) before you even think of making such comparisons.

And just a final note: though badly run by the men who, as you point out, didn't do a very good job, the companies of which you speak are doing perfectly okay today. Alas the same cannot be said for KLVU and MCTL.

>>>Who knows if Mr Dror is going to be a genius this time or not.<<<

You make some reasonable arguments in your post. One question..

Would you put your money into a mutual fund run by a manager who has consistantly and significantly underperformed the S&P 500 in every prior fund he has managed, with the thought that maybe he will get it right this time?

Or would you wait until he at least got it right one time just to make sure he could.

Your list included only the few who have. You forgot the many who have not.
