Craig,

The first company to hit 450 PII-equivalent MHz for under $400 gets my next CPU upgrade.

My next upgrade will be a 333 MHz CPU for under $100 ;-)

>10GB at 7,200 RPM and <5 watts will be my next disk drive.

What's going on with the new generations 7200 RPM drivers? Are they quieter, run cooler? I still have one of the early version of Barracuda drives, and the thing is very noisy, and runs extremely hot.

And NT 5.x my next O/S.

I think NT5 (or it's derivative) will be everybody's next OS ;-)

Joe

Craig - Re: "It took 7 hours to upgrade my son's mobo .."

I'll bet your son loved that ordeal - almost as much as you did!

Re: "Congrats on your Intel profits. I took my 10% two-week gain and ran at $77."

Thanks! As is normal for me, mine is only a "paper profit". Congratulations on your real profit.

It's nice to make money, isn't it?

Paul
