Emile, all those miracles Jesus performed were almost certainly metaphorical, not real at all. And Jesus' followers had a selfish interest in building up his reputation. I do think he was someone it would have been hard to miss had he stopped to talk to me. I think he was probably very charismatic. He was also a very, very common person who campaigned in a radical way for the rights of common people. I am puzzled that so many people want to turn a country Jewish rabbi into some sort of mythical Prince.
