Bobby Beara,
My roommate has done exactly what you have described and has turned an original 4 contract, $20 out of the money each way, position into a little over $300,000 in the last month. Disgusting! I'm at work, I gave him the strategy--although I spread one end, and he's made a killing while I'm at work teaching and can't monitor it....
Depressing for me, wonderful for him.

Lee

<iI buy puts and calls and place stops on each. The internets move so much that I have been
able to make a profit on the move to make up for my stop loss on the wrong side.

Sometime this strategy backfires, because the stock vasilates out of the indecision pattern
in both direction a breaks both stops.

NO EASY SOLUTION!

bb,
I was quite profitable trying to change with the momentum for three days. I was not using as sophisticated method as you. The last two days the momentum never carried through and I lost each way. It is better that I wait until the fundamental start to take hold and then uncover my boxed position. Otherwise, it is a gain one day, a loss the next, a lot of work and a net loss in the end for me.
