Steve

Thanks. Yes, HD is dropping into the kill zone. I too am expecting a wild options expiration on friday.

Seems like the money is rotating faster and faster.

Semi-cap equip stocks: bounce into expiration due to all the ITM puts, or beginning of rotation back into these stocks since INTC gave such a great (ahem!) earnings report?

Seems like everyone is whistling past the graveyard - or maybe LT is becoming a bad influence on me <GG>

The market is a marvel to behold. There are lots of "forced buyers" now in the market, MF managers who have no choice but to put cash into equities. Index funds are slowing sucking up all of the investment capital, eventually trapping that money ala Nifty 50.

I think i will take a look at the EMC chart.

Take Care

Mike

Steve,
Say EMC is at $49 1/2 tomorrow and I want to play straddle. I call my broker telling him I want to (play, buy or sell) an EMC straddle on July 50? I assume this is buying call and put at July 50 simultaneously and the intention is to let one expires assumes it doesn't close at 50? Would I be charged one commission for a straddle or 2 commissions for a regular call and a put? TIA.
