I dont know offhand but thats not my area of expertise. I'll email Joe my backoffice liason and ask him to ask Pershing. More importantly, I'll ask if THEY know of any firms for you.

Regards,
Steve

Dennis,

I believe there are many restrictions placed on IRA accounts that don't apply to plain, old brokerage accounts. Since it is for RETIREMENT and not for speculation, you should check out the prospectus for your IRA to find out exactly what those restrictions are. In addition, most hedge funds and private equity placement deals are designed for qualified investors, i.e., with a minimum net worth anywhere from $250,000 to over $1M (not including real estate and other "illiquid assets").
