OK thanks. Well I was dead wrong on ITEX. But tomorrow, AAPL almost certainly will gap up, and big. They blew away even the highest estimates, .5 vs .33 consensus. This is about as sure as they get.

Bill - I would say this individual on other board is obviously, intentionally mis-spelling.
Why? I suppose to hide their identity, so I would be very careful.
I would, however like to look in on this. Can you post a URL or is this strictly a subscriber board, I'm not familiar with it.

From what you say, it appears, as I believe you stated, they are probably taking their position early & spreading the gap up news, to make sure a fair bit of attention goes to the stock & it's GU potential. Good ploy if one can make it work.

Another thing I have wondered about concerns stocks with multiple listings as with Japan/Asia & US. Due to different opening Xchange hours, a move might occur earlier in Asia for example, on news which came out of US after US mkts close. Have virtually no knowledge of mkts foreign to US (except Canada, where I reside). Does anyone else have any tactical ideas in this respect?
