IMO Intel purchasing TXN is unlikely. But there may be allot of "stupid" money picking up on this one for the reason of the rumor itself. This may be someone at SI getting their jollies this way.

I would suggest not make trading decisions on rumors you find here at SI. Learn how to read the tape and work from there. I do not know of any successful day trader that does not know how to read the tape well. This is essential for sucess in the markets as a day trader. The tape does not lie.
