starpopper: CPQ shareholders are not going to subsidize non efficient workers. CS has to do this themselves. Presently, the Contract Manufacturers are facing unrelenting competition. This is the time when CS should drive hard bargains. All their production should be on a tender basis in competition with their own facilities. Further, to protect the workers and the Investor, all manufacturing assets should be spun off as a separate entity using a new equity issue with worker participation. If they do this , CS will make take-over grade.
