For all I know Yahoo might be a power-house in the future or they might be nuked out of existence and that is O.K by me but dubious predictions by 'consultants' is quite another story.You know who 'consultants' are don't you, they are washed out former executives around 50 who can't get a regular job anymore.

As for your fitting analogy of the Pontiff all I can say is I don't mind it in the least if someone insulted 'his holiness' the Dalai Lama,the Ayatolla,the archbishop of Canterberry, or anyone else similar in stature.

Regarding the comfort level of holding Yahoo all I can say is that it keeps the blood vessels clean for one thing, you don't see me complaining about cholesterol do you?
